The Countryside

Hol is a typical mountain municipality, where 91% of the area is located over 900 meters elevation. The Hallingskarvet Mountains, with their 1,933 meters elevation, is the highest point in the municipality. In reality, it is the highest point in all of Buskerud County. Here we will post new pictures of fantastic scenery, and show off the wonderful countryside around us. An important point is that all of the producers in Cheese Village have both year-round farms, and mountain dairy farming during the summer.
